Little does she realize that her delightful new friendship with inventor Charles Babbage-brilliant, charming, and occasionally curmudgeonly-will shape her destiny. When Ada is introduced into London society as a highly eligible young heiress, she at last discovers the intellectual and social circles she has craved all her life. Any troubling spark of imagination-or worse yet, passion or poetry-is promptly extinguished. Banishing fairy tales and make-believe from the nursery, Ada's mother provides her daughter with a rigorous education grounded in mathematics and science. Estranged from Ada's father, who was infamously "mad, bad, and dangerous to know," Ada's mathematician mother is determined to save her only child from her perilous Byron heritage. The only legitimate child of Lord Byron, the most brilliant, revered, and scandalous of the Romantic poets, Ada was destined for fame long before her birth. New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Chiaverini illuminates the fascinating life of Ada Byron King, Countess of Lovelace-Lord Byron's daughter, the world's first computer programmer, and a woman whose exceptional contributions to science and technology have been too long unsung. Being able to spread the love and history of Swing dancing and more, is our mission. We have been teaching since 2014 and have choreographed numerous wedding dances, Quinceañeras, and more. We have danced Swing in five music videos (The Moontones, Suzie and the Cruisers, Patrice Jegou) and one independent film, "The Enchantress of Number". However, our primary focus is Swing dancing.

We always push our limits and we've been trained in various Ballroom and Latin dances such as Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. Soon we began going to various dance studios (yay for paychecks!) learning and advancing our knowledge of other dance styles. We played their videos over and over, until we felt confident in our movements. A huge shoutout to Frankie Manning, Erin Stevens, and Shauna Marble from Lindy Ladder. We were hungry college students, we didn't have a lot to spend on dance lessons. But in late 2012 we saw couples dancing Swing and Lindy Hop at Disneyland and immediately wanted to learn "how they did that!" (What we actually exclaimed) Since that day we began practicing from videos on the internet in Cat's garage (pictured above) everyday after school for hours. Growing up playing various sports, we never paid attention to the dance floor. We met in high school and never considered ourselves dancers. Husband and wife dance duo, Adolfo and Cat! We've been avidly dancing since 2013.
